Defending Life
Virginia Democrats have pursued expansive abortion access. In 2019, they introduced a bill that would have allowed late-term abortions and made troubling statements about whether newborn babies should receive care. In 2022, they blocked a bill that would have required doctors to provide life-saving treatment to babies born alive. That’s not acceptable. I support Governor Youngkin’s plan, which allows abortion up to 15 weeks with clear exceptions for rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is in danger. I also support the “Born Alive Infant Act,” which makes sure every baby born alive gets the lifesaving care they need and deserve.

Education
As the father of three kids who graduated from Stafford County public schools—and with both my wife and daughter working as teachers—education is personal to me. I served on the Stafford School Board’s Transportation Committee for two terms, including as Chair. I’ve seen what our schools do well and where they need help. I support giving parents more choices, including money back for families who homeschool or choose private school. And for families who choose public school, I’ll fight to make sure funding goes directly to classrooms—not wasted on red tape.

Protecting Girls’ Sports
As a father of two girls, I know that every girl deserves a level playing field. Allowing biological males to compete in girls’ sports isn’t just unfair—it undermines decades of progress made through Title IX and robs young women of opportunities they’ve earned. I will work to ensure our laws protect fairness, safety, and the integrity of women’s athletics at every level. This is about basic common sense: girls’ sports are for girls, and we should have the courage to stand up and say so.

Border Security
Even though we’re far from the southern border, Virginia is still feeling the impact of the federal government’s failure to stop illegal immigration. Fentanyl and other dangerous drugs are pouring into our state and killing Virginians. As a former law enforcement officer, I was honored to be recognized by ICE in 2024 for helping with immigration enforcement. I support blocking funding to cities and counties that refuse to work with immigration officers, and I stand with states that are taking action to protect their people when Washington won’t.

Fighting Gridlock
Like you, I sit in traffic on I-95 and feel the frustration every day. I know we need real solutions to fix our roads. I’ll work with local leaders to focus on the projects that actually reduce traffic and improve commute times. That means adding lanes, fixing problem areas, and making smarter decisions about how and where we grow. I’ll fight to keep our region moving forward—not stuck in traffic.

Veterans
As a disabled veteran, I understand the challenges that come with leaving military service and starting a new life. I’m committed to making Virginia the best place in the country for veterans and their families. I’ll support laws that help veterans get jobs, go to school, and access the care they need. Veterans have earned more than just thanks—they’ve earned real opportunities, and I’ll make sure they get them.

SEcond Amendment
I’ve supported the Second Amendment my whole life, and I’m a proud lifetime member of the NRA. I believe every law-abiding Virginian has the right to own and carry a firearm—whether it’s for self-defense, hunting, or sport. I’ll stand strong against any effort to take away those rights. The government has no business making it harder for you to protect yourself, your family, or your home.
